Who We Are
Dipped Products PLC is a global manufacturer of protective hand-wear. Our portfolio includes natural and synthetic-latex based supported and unsupported gloves with numerous applications for household, industrial and medical use.
Our roots run deep in Sri Lanka where we source our key raw material: rubber. As one of the pioneers in the global natural rubber industry, we’re favoured in the quality of the resources and our strength in innovation gives us a significant advantage in offering a world-class product.
Our operations are backed by an industrious workforce in our plantation sector with 14,000+ employees, while our main glove manufacturing operations are handled by 2000+ employees. In addition, we are headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka with manufacturing facilities in both Sri Lanka and Thailand, while our marketing arm in Italy, ‘ICO GUANTI’, supports all our growth efforts.
“The constant need to outdo our own achievements allowed us to grow from the single line production facility in 1977 to offering 350+ products sold in 70 countries today.”
DPL’s subsidiaries include KVPL (Kelani Valley Plantations) and TTE (Talawakelle Tea Estate), which are among Sri Lanka’s leading regional plantation companies that produce a substantial amount of Sri Lanka’s tea and rubber production in more than 42 estates in five districts.
DPL is part of Hayleys PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s most respected and diversified business conglomerates that command leading positions across key sectors.
Our history with ICOGUANTI S.p. A, Italy

In 2022, DPL France was established as a subsidiary of ICOGUANTI S.p.A, to acquire the assets of Rozenbal France, which enabled DPL to expand its marketing operations further in Europe with its wide distribution of network.
With the acquisition of assets of Rozenbal France, Rozenbal Polska in Poland also became a subsidiary of ICOGUANTI which further strengthened DPL’s presence in Europe.
